Emily Rehorn, MS, LAC (she/her) is a Licensed Associate Counselor in New Jersey. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Cairn University and has been part of the SAW Counseling family since 2022. Emily works with children, adolescents, and adults, providing individual, family, and group counseling.
Emily has experience supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and relational challenges. She draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Her work is grounded in a person-centered approach, allowing her to tailor treatment to each client’s individual needs and goals.
Emily strives to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. Through therapy, she helps clients gain greater mental clarity, develop self-awareness and self-confidence, and build healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges.
During your first visit, you can expect to meet someone warm, compassionate, and genuinely willing to listen. Emily works collaboratively with each client to establish realistic goals and create a path toward greater emotional well-being. She believes that hope, joy, and peace are possible even in the midst of challenging circumstances and is committed to supporting her clients as they grow, heal, and succeed.
